Shoorbaloo ("we", "us", or "our") builds a brain-training game app that helps you train memory, focus, and more. We care deeply about your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Shoorbaloo, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Shoorbaloo app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the game, sync your progress, and improve the experience. This includes:

  • Account information: when you create an account or sign in, we collect your name, email address, and a unique account identifier provided by your sign-in provider (Apple or Google).
  • Gameplay and progress data: your scores, levels, training history, collected characters, achievements, in-game currency balances, and preferences, so we can save and sync your progress across devices.
  • Device and technical information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, and general region, used for compatibility and troubleshooting.
  • Usage and analytics data: anonymized or pseudonymized events about how features are used, to help us improve gameplay.
  • Crash and diagnostic data: technical reports generated when the app encounters an error, so we can fix bugs.
  • Purchase information: a record that a purchase occurred and which item was bought. Payment card details are handled by Apple and Google — we never see or store your full payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and personalize the game and your account.
  • Save and synchronize your progress, achievements, and purchases across your devices.
  • Enable multiplayer matches, leaderboards, and social features.
  • Process in-app purchases and restore previously purchased content.
  • Diagnose problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the service secure.
  • Understand how the app is used so we can improve and add new features.
  • Communicate with you about support requests and important service updates.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the app. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

  • Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions, and messaging) for accounts, progress storage, and notifications.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregated, pseudonymized usage patterns.
  • Firebase Crashlytics for crash and stability reporting.
  • RevenueCat to manage and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions.
  • Sign-in providers Apple and Google for secure authentication.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for cross-app tracking.

4. In-App Purchases

Shoorbaloo offers optional in-app purchases, including virtual currency (such as Shorbs and diamonds) and other content. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a confirmation that a purchase was completed and which product was bought; we do not receive your full payment details. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or store policy.

5. Children’s Privacy

Shoorbaloo is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age required for consent in their region (for example, under 13 in the United States or under 16 in parts of the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights — including deleting your account and associated data — email us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. International Data Transfers

We operate internationally, and your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your information when it is transferred across borders.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.

10. Consent to Use of Technical Data

You agree that we may collect and use technical data and related information — including but not limited to technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals — that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and other services to you (if any) related to the Shoorbaloo app. We may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve our products or to provide services or technologies to you.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
